I thought I could wait till after the CTs to post this, but I just couldn’t.
He was the King of pop, whose beats danced in our heads, whose moves lifted our spirits and whose heart moved ours. He was Michael Jackson, who passed away on 25th June 2009. I think his death brought about this unspoken truth; we can all come and go that easily. He was going to set off for a world tour; new choreography, songs and more. Little did anyone expect someone so great to leave only a legacy from decades ago. What about now, what could there have been?
And what about us? What would we do with our time?
Can we influence others too? Can we make a mark? Can we make people think good of us, dead or alive?
I think he was handsome whatever he looked like. For what he did, he’s great.

Needed a song that could just encapsulate the entire matter. What else, but one of his own.
Like a comet
Blazing ‘cross the evening sky
Gone too soon
Like a rainbow
Fading in the twinkling of an eye
Gone too soon
Shiny and sparkly
And splendidly bright
Here one day
Gone one night
Like the loss of sunlight
On a cloudy afternoon
Gone too soon
Like a castle
Built upon a sandy beach
Gone too soon
Like a perfect flower
That is just beyond your reach
Gone too soon
Born to amuse, to inspire, to delight
Here one day
Gone one night
Like a sunset
Dying with the rising of the moon
Gone too soon
Gone too soon
